Blue Vase with Polka Dots

A birthday present arrives - wrapped with this sweet red polka dot ribbon. I could not throw it out because it was so cute, so I wrapped it around my favorite blue vase. The tulips are begging to be painted and it all came together in this bright and cheerful painting, Blue Vase with Polka Dots!

    I love your article in the July/August 2010 clothpaperscissors! I just got back home from 12 day trip to New Mexico with my Mom. She is 78 & I am 55 years young. I kept a written journal, took tons of photos & collected tons of memorabilia(sp?) I had been mulling over how a would create a memory book of this trip. After reading your article I think I will use all the maps as backgrounds! Thank you for your inspiration & fabulous art!
